In order to become a Brandyourcar.com member you must have a valid driver’s license and you must fill out the registration form
How long will it take for me to be selected for a consumer advertising programme?
Brandyourcar.com is developing a new advertising medium and this will take a little time, but being part of a large media giant will make it easier. As more advertisers sign up for the programme, your chances will increase dramatically. We wish we could speed up the process for everyone but it all depends on the advertiser selection criteria. The more people we get in the programme the better your chances are because then we have a larger diverse inventory to offer our clients. Spread the word and sign up today!
Are there any catches?
No, there are no catches at all!
Do I need vehicle insurance?
No, this is not a requirement at all.
Do I have to do anything besides drive my car?
No, all you need to do is drive your car on your normal routes. But there may be instances when our advertisers may want to involve you in a special request, and you will be informed about this before the campaign starts. In general, we only want you to drive just like you already are. As an Ambassador to the company that you will be representing, we will educate you on the advertising company and could possibly provide you with free samples. If the advertiser needs additional promotional activities, we will review their requirements with you at the time and change the incentives linked with your contract or agreement. The level of your participation will be entirely up to you.
How will I know I’ve been selected for the programme?
You will be notified that you have been selected to participate by an email or by a sms. We will let you know all the particulars of the campaign, we will tell you about the program available, and you will be given information about the product that is being advertised, the duration of the campaign, the amount of money you will receive as well as instructions on where we will wrap your vehicle. At that time we might also check your driving record and review your application to make sure we have all of your updated information.
What do I do if I’m uncomfortable with the type of advertisement on my vehicle?
You can refuse to accept that particular campaign and still be eligible to be picked by a different advertiser. You will however not be eligible for that particular revenue opportunity. It is in everyone’s best interest to make sure you support and are happy with the campaign. However, you will not have the ability to select the designs or colours that our advertisers decide to use for a program.
What happens if I move? Will I still be eligible for the programme?
Yes, if your profile changes you can still participate in the programme. At the time just notify us of the appropriate changes. If you are already participating in the programme, we will make every effort to enable you to stay in the programme.
What if I find out I don’t like driving a wrapped car; can I take off the wrap?
No, not until the campaign has come to an end as the advertiser has invested time and money into the advertising material used on your vehicle. But we are confident that after we discuss the programme with you and you approve the client that you are matched with that you will love the programme. We have had nothing but great feedback from our drivers. However if you have branding on your vehicle, and you change your mind, regarding the opportunity, we can arrange to remove you from the database and you won’t be eligible for future campaigns.
What happens if I get in an accident?
If you are involved in an accident you will need to contact Brandyourcar.com within 24 hours and give us an indication of the severity of the accident. We will then take the necessary action to replace or fix the advertising on a case by case basis.
What happens if the wrap on my car gets damaged or vandalized?
If any damage occurs to the wrap you need to contact Brandyourcar.com within 24 hours. We will make appropriate arrangements to replace the damaged sections of the advertisement.
How long does the same advertisement stay on my vehicle?
An advertisement may stay on your car from a few months to a maximum of 2 years. If your vehicle needs to be re-wrapped, Brandyourcar.com will make the arrangements and notify you with the details of the campaign duration. Bear in mind the longer the campaign, the longer you are guaranteed of a monthly income!
What will my wrapped car look like?
Your car will be wrapped in a digitally printed, high quality vinyl. The advertisements will be bright, bold and visually pleasing. There are a lot of vehicles on the road, carrying some sort of advertising. For examples go to our gallery and have a look at some of the other drivers and their vehicles.

If any of your information has changed, send us an email and we shall contact you to make the changes.
How have people liked being in the program?
Internationally this has been a huge success and the talk of the town in terms of generating extra income. Participants love it! You get to be part of a new advertising revolution.
What Company will advertise on my vehicle?
The range of companies that utilise Brandyourcar.com span a wide spectrum and they could come from the e-business, banking, insurance, telecommunications, music and entertainment and the consumer products sectors. Very few companies are excluded from advertising on vehicles.
Can I choose the advertising?
Yes, you may refuse any advertising which you do not feel comfortable with and still remain eligible to be selected by another advertiser, which you are comfortable with.
Do I have to drive a certain amount of kilometres?
You only have to drive your normal amount of kilometres. When registering you will be required to indicate your average kilometres traveled per month.
What kind of vehicle is eligible?
We accept all types of vehicles in good and average condition.
Can my vehicle be damaged when the vinyl is removed?
It is recommended that the application and removal will be done by our team of professionals. The risk of your car being damaged in the process is negligible. However in the unfortunate event of this happening, there is insurance cover that will ensure there is no cost to you for repairing the vehicle.
How will the information in my application for be used?
Your information will be used for advertisers to choose if your driving patterns and lifestyle correspond to their campaign and will determine your selection. Your privacy will be respected and you will have access to your data whenever you want to modify it, cancel or update it.
Can I cancel my agreement before expiration?
Your agreement begins from the day your vehicle is covered and you are required to adhere to your agreement until it expires. However you may cancel your membership after your advertising campaign has been completed or alternatively you can choose to remain in our database and be selected by another advertiser and earn more cash!
Does it affect the warranty on a vehicle?
Most of the time, no, but check first.
Does it matter what colour my car is?
No, a car wrap is not translucent; you cannot see through it. In certain advertising campaigns the colour of the car can be prescriptive to match the creative; we however need all kind of coloured cars on our database.
It looks like there are graphics on the windows; will I still be able to see through the windows?
Yes, the window graphics are printed on contravision that allows you to see through the windows from the inside, almost like a tinted window.
Do you wrap the front side windows?
No, we do not cover the front window and where possible avoid the front side windows as well.
Do you wrap the roof?
On most vehicles the roof is included. Generally, we do not wrap roofs on larger vehicles (vans, trucks or bakkies), unless it is requested by the customer.
Can you wrap a fibreglass or chrome bumper?
We can wrap a painted plastic bumper without any problems. In the case of fibre-glass or chrome bumpers, application of vinyl on these areas are not recommended or guaranteed to adhere for the duration of the life of the wrap.
How will I be paid?
On a monthly basis you will be required to submit a current picture of your vehicle, verification code as well as your odometer reading. Then you will be paid according to the payment terms while the campaign is running by means of an EFT transfer into your bank account.
How much can I be compensated for participating in the programme?
Your payment is dependent on various factors e.g. the advertising rate paid by the advertiser, type of car, location, campaign period etc. According to our rate card you can expect to be paid anything between R850 up to R2 000 per month. The duration of the campaign will be determined by the advertiser and this will also affect your total income from the campaign.
How will my driving be tracked?
You will be required to provide a monthly photo, a verification code and your cars odometer reading and we could also schedule random routine inspections from time to time to verify odometer reading and ensure that the material remains applied and is in good condition.
How long will it take to wrap a vehicle?
Depending on the design and the surface being applied, it can take anything from half an hour to 8 hours. Our specialists will however make an appointment in this regard with you, when convenient.
What expenses will I incur by participating in the programme?
None, you will incur no expenses when/ if you participate in our programme. You can only earn from participating.
How long will I be compensated for having my vehicle Branded?
As long as your vehicle carries advertising, you will earn a monthly income, paid in arrears. We offer our advertising clients contract varying from 1 to 24 months depending on their campaign and budget so your compensation will vary based on those terms accepted by them.
Will I have any special instructions or be restricted from certain activities?
No, but because you will be seen as a brand ambassador we do expect that you behave in a self respecting manner.
